The Wind

The winds' truth

The wind whispered its secrets through the trees

Begging us to listen

Begging us to pause for a minute and see

The damage we've inflicted upon thy earth

The wind missed the old days

It missed the cozy breeze

It missed the healthy trees

But now there was nothing left to let its sweet melodies free

The wind whispered its secrets

The secrets of how it truly felt

The secrets of how we are destroying the earth

Using it for our own true will

The wind whispered of the good old days

The times we can't get back

The once healthy planet that will now never be gray
