The Wild Introvert
When overheard words ignite passion
I'm in my own little world
deep in my thoughts
No interest or care at the world that passes me by
I'm the one who's always quiet
The one who sits at the corner table of a cafe
Who never talks just to talk, to fill silent space with words
I'd rather listen to others, be an observer
The one who values my time alone
And then with just one mention
Just one word
I hear a simple mention
Of a topic I'm deeply passionate about
So you're a fan as well? A believer just like me?
like a drop of color that explodes and bleeds out on canvas
My passions are ignited
My eyes widen with a fiery passion
My subtle smile becomes more revealing
I could go on endlessly talking about this passion of mine!
Where shall I begin?
I am that introverted soul, content in solitude
Just taking in the world around me
And then, with just one overheard mention
Excitement ignites my quiet soul
A soul that becomes wild and free
