The Weight We Cary
Unseen burden and unspoken strength

Beneath the smiles we learn to wear,
A silent weight, beyond compare.
A thousand whispers, doubts, and fears,
Collected through the passing years.
We walk with burdens none can see,
A private war, a silent plea.
Each step is heavy, slow, confined,
With chains that only bind the mind.
Yet in the dark, a flicker grows,
A quiet strength that softly glows.
The weight we carry, though it stings,
Becomes the source of greater wings.
For every scar and every strain
Can teach us how to bear the pain.
And though the road feels long, unkind,
Hope walks ahead, not far behind.
So pause, but know you’re not alone,
This weight is ours, yet not our own.
Together, lighter we can be—
A shared release, a shared journey.
