The city sleeps beneath the haze,
Lost in a labyrinthine maze.
I pray to God, what makes us stray,
From paths where love lights up the way?
We seek connection, not to roam
In lonely shadows, far from home.
I carry no banner of dissent,
My quiet strength is heaven-sent.
Let children share a simple meal,
And know the comfort that is real.
Let mothers hum a gentle tune,
Beneath the silent, watchful moon.
Let fathers share a knowing glance,
A future filled with sweet romance
Of unity. I ask you, Lord, to weave
A tapestry where all believe
In common good, in shared embrace,
Leaving no soul without a place.
Unravel the knots of fear and greed,
You are the source of every creed.
It's you, my Lord, whose vision sees,
Beyond our frail complexities.
Imbue our hearts with empathy's art,
Until compassion plays its part.
Dismantle walls that keep us दूर,
Let kindness be the guiding lure.
Hear us, Lord, our earnest call,
Let harmony encompass all.
Destroy the idols of the vain,
Let understanding softly reign.
You Almighty God, in every sphere,
Bring hearts together, hold them dear.
