The Way You Hold the Moon
A poem about love that feels both infinite and quietly human.
By The 9x FawdiPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

You hold the moon the way you hold my heart
carefully, as if light could break.
Your hands make gravity gentle
and your touch teaches stars to rest.
When you laugh, the night leans closer
as though it wants to listen too.
Even the wind forgets its path
to trace the warmth that lingers near you.
I never knew silence could hum
until you stood beside me.
The air became a song
and the sky began to breathe.
Love, you are not the whole universe
yet somehow, you make it feel smaller
and kinder
each time you look at me.
