The Warrior's Death.
Love Beyond The Veil.

When the ember fades, do not mourn the ash,
For the fire lingers in the wind’s hush.
The path we walked, three cycles bright,
A fleeting dawn, yet endless light.
The blade was drawn, the stars stood still,
Yet love was inked by sovereign will.
Now shadows call, yet fear not night,
For love outlives the final fight.
A gem lies hidden—guard it well,
A tale yet told, a seed to swell.
The keeper’s hands must shape the clay,
And shield the dawn from dusk’s decay.
The matron waits with weary breath,
Ease the weight, defy the death.
For fate’s great script was penned before,
And sealed behind an ageless door.
Speak the Name, let echoes rise,
A thousand tongues, a thousand cries.
The warrior fades, yet He remains,
The key, the crown, the breaking chains.

I really love the flow of this one, Cathy. The rhymes, the flow, the imagery and the way it feels both mystical and grounded! I would like to, if you don't mind, include this one in the book? Thank you for taking part and being supportive!
