In a rugged shell, a world concealed,
A walnut’s mind, its fate revealed.
Half-opened gate, a brain-like form,
Shaped by nature, weathered, worn.
************************************************
An ancient thought in humble guise,
Secrets kept from mortal eyes.
Through creases deep, in silent lines,
Wisdom flows in hidden signs.
************************************************
A map of life, from seed to tree,
Bound by roots, yet wild and free.
Within this husk, a story’s told,
Of Earth and time and tales of old.
***********************************************
In a shell of strength and wisdom’s might,
The walnut dreams, unseen by sight.
In a nutshell, life’s quite the ride,
Crack it open—see what’s inside!
**********************************************
Snack or story? You get to decide.

Intriguing point of view! The wrinkled walnut 😉.
🙃😊✨The streets where I live are all nut names like Hazel nut drive, cashew avenue, and bitter nut avenue. lol 😝
Love this one 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
BRILLIANT!
Ooo this is so very clever. What a lovely idea to use a walnut as a way to tell the story of life. That the things that are weathered and worn has a story to tell, lessons to be learnt. That even though life has its ups and downs, we are still wild and free. We can use this reminder to crack the walnut open and face anything life throws at us. But knowing that we are supported by nature through the life of this walnut. Masterfully written Komal, very inspirational 👏🏽👌🏽🤗♥️
Beautifully crafted verse and so evocative and considering of the the walnut. Those patterns made inside the shell are fascinating. I love to cook and eat raw walnuts and this is a great homage. Well done.
Hi, Komal... I have this crazy idea of collaborating with certain creators... Here's the idea: You could start a story, any story but maybe we can share ideas about the starting of the story and you would leave it incomplete; at a twisty situation... From where it could be turned into any mold. The next creator( eg; me) would start writing with completely different ideas yet continuing the story and then I'll pass it to Sk and he would continue... And then he would pass it to someone else... Wouldn't that be fun? I want at least 5 creators, but I want you to start the loop. It would be such a vibe to continue the story that you start... How about we don't make it too long? How would you say that? I'd love it, if you agree to this. Please... But It would be fine too if you reject it. No pressure, sweetie ❤😃✨
This is so cool. Love it!
The way your poem rhymes! Beautiful! Wish I was this talented. "Bound by roots, yet wild and free", my favourite line 😊
Love the way you awakened the audience. Keep it up
So beautiful! well done!
I'm a sucker for walnuts! You made me hungry reading this!! Beautifully done though, this was incredible! 💌
A truly fresh and fun poem being both a snack and a story.✨ Nicely done Komal!💕😊
I'll choose the story! Snack is not my favorite one. Sometimes it tastes 'Kardwa' to me. 😆 An ancient thought in humble guise, Secrets kept from mortal eyes." You made the poem a mortal piece, really! Keep it up, sweetie ❤✨
This is beautiful snack and story! Well done ✨
Wonderfully penned ode to my favourite nut. A great one, my friend.
The walnut's journey truly captures the essence of nature's wonders. Snack or story? I say it's both, a delightful treat.
It's both a snack and a story hehehehe. Loved it!
In a nutshell-- VERY cool! ⚡ ♥️ ⚡
