The moment of truth arrived as the judges took the stage to announce the winners. Eliza’s heart pounded in her chest as they began with the third-place winner.
When they called her name as the second-place winner, a mix of emotions flooded through her. She was thrilled to have placed so high, yet a part of her couldn’t help but feel the sting of defeat. Amaree, of course, had taken first place.
As Amaree basked in the glory of her victory, Eliza stood there, holding her trophy with a determined smile. She refused to let this be the end of her journey.
