As the first notes of her song began to play, she closed her eyes and let the music take over. Her voice flowed smoothly, each note filled with emotion and passion.
She could feel the audience’s rapt attention, and for those few minutes, it felt like it was just her and the music. When the song ended, the hall erupted into applause.
Eliza felt an extreme rush of exhilaration as she took her bow and left the stage. Backstage, she was greeted by Clara, who hugged her tightly. "You were amazing, Eliza! No matter what happens, you should be proud."
