The Vigilant Sentinel
On duty, he watches out for those he loves to escape natures wrath
Forever standing tall high above the rest,
The bravest of hearts beats within his chest.
He keeps watch for natures dangers uncertain,
Making sure no one escapes his unfurled eyes curtain.
Scanning the horizon he beckons the all clear,
All keep to their duties in highest of cheer.
Soon eerie shadows spring the alarm,
The sentinel cries out; Escape all harm.
Quick as a flash all delve into their bunker,
Some more than other stay still and hunker.
A moment flies by and the coast becomes clear,
Its time to come out; there's nothing to fear.
This soothing call brings everyone cheerfully back,
Our sentinel; please watch over us til the next attack.
