The Vegan Shark

The Gentle Giant

The ocean roars a lullaby, a song of depths unknown,

But strikes a chord of terror in a heart of shell and bone.

No thrill of chase, no scent of blood, this gentle giant craves,

Just peaceful bites of plankton, a life devoid of waves.

He dreams of kelp forests, swaying in currents slow,

Where sunlight filters softly, casting an emerald glow.

His kin, they slash and tear their prey, with razor-sharp delight,

But he would trade a fin for feet, to walk beneath the light.

A vegan in a world of teeth, a paradox he seems,

A lonely leviathan, haunted by vegetarian dreams.

For in the vast and churning blue, where hunger sets the pace,

A gentle soul like his can find no solace, finds no place.

So with a flick of tail he glides, a king of muted might,

A dreamer in a world of storm, a creature born of night.
