The Unknown Stranger

An unfamiliar attraction

By Adaline ArcherPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

An unknown place, an unknown theatre

An unknown movie, an unknown neighbor

A slow-motion scene with a continuously increasing darkening rhythm

Abruptly sound stops and I found out a ghost did not scare me at all

The thing that scared me was a neighbor

Sitting beside me, had pinched his nails into my arm

Had hid his face in my chest

My heartbeat increasing quickly and my body sweating

Suddenly he remembered that I was a stranger

He told me he was sorry and continued watching the movie

Then was a romantic scene, both of our hands got close to each other

Slowly we were holding hands and he was leaning on my shoulder

A strange attachment with a strange guy, strange attracting feelings

Still we both are unknown to each other, yet we are attached to each other
