The Unbroken Ring

Find the end of a circle

By John MarkhamPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

With this ring, this golden thing,

I take you for my wife.

I promise you that I’ll be true.

Through all the years of life.

A circle makes, without a break,

This promise round your heart

It has no end, no final bend,

And never has a start.

The same is true of me and you:

We’re spirits made above.

We knew, we met, when time was yet

Unknown, but yet we loved.

And when we fail, and pass that veil,

Our love will still exist.

As man and wife, eternal life,

We’ll enter with a kiss.
