The Unapologetic Frost

The magic of winter is here

By CrystalPublished about a year ago 1 min read

The morning sun glistening off ice as if all were glass covered.

The whimsical way the layers of the first snowfall flutters,

Catching wind, composing masterpieces of whispers to discover.

Without ears to hear what all the wind truly has to utter.

The chilly frost of winter has now begun.

With crisp moisture filling each breath of air,

Confirming the last song of fall has been sung.

Freeze flowing in all directions without care.

Snowflakes swirling around, no two alike.

Each with its own unique design.

Ever so gracefully dancing in the sky,

Then landing in snow blankets to become impossible to find.

The trees stand frozen mimicking a still life painting.

Or as if to experience a real-life snow globe.

The stillness of the frost lay all around anticipating.

The fleeting magic of the frost continues to unapologetically flow.
