The Ultimate Sacrifice

You took your journey to early for us. That rainy day my world crashed down, no warning in sight and to fast to catch you closed your eyes, and took your last breath. No warning, no clue not even an answer as to why. You took one more look back, at those you left behind. You made peace with your demons and said your goodbyes.

The news hit my ears and my knees hit the ground. This is a joke it cant be right, bring her back! I'm not ready to put my first love in the ground, I still need her around I begged and pleaded for you to come back, don't go to that light. Ill stay with you, and watch you I swear I will. We will make it through the night and together we can win this fight.

U wiped the tear from my eye, be strong and have no fear, you will see me again but this I have to get right. See there is a life coming a blessing to you all, This one I cant fail or let fall, this one is the one to change it all. I don't understand nor do I care, see we all need you here, now please come back home back home with me.

I promise in time you will see and trust me I will always be there. I made my choice, now I'm at peace, I gave my soul with such ease. My wings will cover her from all harm, these wings are her ride there. we are connected and you are sure to find me before the rest. It is hard and hurts to the core, sis this one time I need you to let me lead. I didn't know the seed that was planted was the one only I could grow, the one inside that was already in a fight all of her own, a fight she knew she had to win, the fight for a life of her own, and you was the way in.

I agreed to give my soul for these pretty new wings, they hold the key to what is left untold, answer to questions that will unfold Her spirit is where you will see me most, look deep in her eyes from there I can watch you all, she will give you all strength and together y'all stand tall. Her smile is the light you need to see in the dark, one you don't need to spark strong yet stubborn smart and bold willful and pure. I am in her that's for sure.
