The shiny tiles
See
Like eyes with invisible glue-strings
A formless hug
A soul safe
In blue-black.
The twins of night
My hands reaching far
All elbows and knees
One beat
Burns bright
In the darkness still.
I'm lonely in the wind
And it's never felt better
No quiet or love
Ever felt softer
A normal that breaks
Into bubbles
mmm...
Why not stay?
Why not?
Knot-Not
Not today!
Today/Tonight
In a blink
We are born
And bloom:
Two shoots
From a single star.
This poem is part of a series of 25 daily word experiments I am committing to for the month of October. The motto: “Sometimes garbage, sometimes sweet, not fun everyday, but everyday anyway!” Intrigued to experience what can be created (and discovered) in the process of developing a consistent writing practice, I will be sharing a poem a day until my Vocal+ subscription ends at the end of the month. Let’s gooooo!
