The twinkly stars shine down
The world looks up to thank them

The twinkly stars shine down
Twinkly stars shine down on quiet streets,
night holding its breath above the ground.
Windows glow with borrowed warmth and thought,
the world slows where dreams are found.
Twinkly stars shine down on tired hearts,
carrying wishes that were never said.
Each light a promise drifting through time,
each spark a thought we once held.
Twinkly stars shine down on empty roads,
where footsteps echo what was and is.
Memories rise like gentle smoke,
asking nothing more than this.
Twinkly stars shine down on folded hands,
hope resting where fear once stayed.
The dark listens without judgement,
to every silent prayer we made.
Twinkly stars shine down on passing years,
on love that bends yet does not break.
Time leaves marks we learn to carry,
for every choice we dared to make.
Twinkly stars shine down until the dawn,
teaching the night how to let go.
Even the longest shadows fade,
when morning starts to show.
