It's me, apologetically me lol. I'm an overthinker. Not just some things, but a lot of things. I can't help it though. I think it's my need to understand everything.

I break it down and analyze it, like an Egyptian scientist getting the first glimpse of 5,000 year old hieroglyphics hidden in a sealed cave for 4,997 years. Context is important, in my schoolwork especially because I can't grasp the thorough meaning of a verse without knowing the context first. So I pore over words, deciphering and dissecting, making concise incisions with my thought processes. Every paragraph, every sentence, every word, maybe every syllable...

That's probably one thing that drives people a little crazy about me - the fact that I have to see things from all angles in an overthinking mental whirlwind. And I catch myself doing it and try to stop...

But it's what also what enables me to see a sunrise in its full majesty- the light, the shadows, the colors, the landscape, the clouds... and then the sun setting with its colors, the clouds, the light, the shadows, and how it seems to slowly descend and then it seems to speed up and boom! It's gone below the horizon. I see every thing in every thing around me, and I don't know if it's related to overthinking but I know I want to see every facet and study it, figure it out. Especially nature- trees, flowers, weeds, insects ( no roaches) fences, clouds and everything in between.

So if overthinking was a crime, you could definitely arrest me. Throw the book at me ( what's the title..) and it's ok if you throw away the key.

Just give me a window view. And maybe throw that book at me again...

Maybe as humans we're not over-thinking. Who's the judge of overthinking....? I'd say it might be us... Should we judge ourselves in this way? I don't know... This is great topic!
