The Tempest in Your Eyes
A Love Song in Disguise

Your eyes, once oceans of delight, now storm with darkened skies,
A tempest brewed, a hateful sight, that pierces through my guise.
My foolish heart, it beats too fast, for even in your rage,
A strange allure, a beauty cast, upon this darkened stage.
The sting of anger on your tongue, a melody I crave,
For in its dissonance, unsung, a deeper love I crave.
Perhaps I've strayed, perhaps I've erred, but know this to be true,
My love's a constant, whispered word, that only waits for you.
The fire in your emerald gaze, a challenge I embrace,
For love, at times, in strange displays, finds its most fervent space.
Let not this anger be your guide, for deep within you see,
The truth that burns, the love that hides, a constant part of me.
Through storms we'll sail, through trials wade, but hand in hand we'll stand,
For even hate, in love's cascade, can morph to understand.
