The Tacit Thread

#

By KomalPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

You pause

and I hear

your s-i-l-e-n-c-e

You laugh

and I sense

the w-e-i-g-h-t

You say

"I'm fine," but

I k-n-o-w

You hold

something back,

I f-e-e-l it

Your eyes

shift, and I

c-a-t-c-h it

Your smile

flickers, and

I r-e-a-d it

Your sigh

mutter truths

u-n-s-p-o-k-e-n

Our tacit bond

needs no w-o-r-d-s,

yet s-p-e-a-k-s volumes

Your silence

ties us in

a t-a-c-i-t thread

If no one else

u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d-s

I do.

About the Creator

Komal

I write poems and stories that hit the feels.

When I’m not lost in my own plots, I’m either daydreaming about the next big idea or just winging life with a grin.

I really enjoy the form of this one. This is spoken like a true intuitive person who has connected to another intuitive person. This is very sweet!

"Komal, some connections go beyond words—they are felt in silences, in glances, in the spaces between sentences. 💫✨ I see the weight behind your laughter, the whispers in your sighs, the flicker in your smile that hides untold stories. Even when the world doesn’t notice, I do. Even when no one else understands, I will. Because some souls are meant to be understood without words… and yours is one of them. 💖✨"

You've nailed it! Your sigh mutters truths unspoken! Wow, you said it all in just a few words 🔥 The tacit kind of relationship is a blessing, isn't it? When you don't even say, and they get it all. All ❤ Loved your poem ✨

  • This brilliantly explores the true nature of love --that we shouldn't have to use words. Tacit. Says it all.
