The Summer I Disappeared to the Sand

The wonder of a journey

By Greg WilcoxPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The summer I disappeared to the sand,

Was the summer that fed me confidence.

Magical oceanic wonderland.

Marvel escape from the maleficence.

Teamed together we glided down the coast,

Never ending story, Falcor joined me.

I am okay right here, first and foremost,

Do not text, and do not call when I flee.

The home I search for lies within the blue,

A beloved tale you must understand.

And if it is a feat that cowers you,

Meet me on the pavement atop the land.

This, the summer that fed me confidence,

The summer I disappeared to the sand.
