The Haiku

The real Talisman

Tell me what is it please tell

It’s The one you make

♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️

The strongest known talisman in the world,

Is not a ring, nor a claw, nor a buried stone.

It is the Holy Grail,

Cup of myth and wound and promise,

Said to carry blood and mercy,

Said to make kings tremble.

It is the Ark of the Covenant,

Wood and gold, thunder held in a box,

A presence so fierce

Men dared not touch.

It is the Hand of Fatima,

Palm against the evil eye,

Blue bead watching the watcher,

Guarding doorways and newborn sleep.

It is the Philosopher’s Stone,

Red dream of alchemists,

Metal turned to miracle,

Mortality bargaining for light.

Yet stronger than relic and legend,

Stronger than gold hammered thin with prayer,

Is the human heart that believes

It is protected.

For faith makes iron of breath,

And courage out of dust,

And whatever we name sacred,

Becomes our shield.

Marie can you image if you turn your poem into a story for the Myth of the Holy Gail. To be honest, this poem is motivating me to carry it on into a myth story 🥰
