The Stranger

Poem

By Stella CabreraPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

As I look at her

I see

A strange girl

With thin straight hair

Unable to curl

And hazel green eyes

A forest is seen in them

She hates wearing makeup

For it hides the truth

In her light skin

Her height makes people

Look up in wonder

And her rosy pink lips

Spread open with each

Breathe

She looks at me

And i look at her

As our hips start to sway

With hope

As the music plays

And love radiates

From our joyous

Heart

We look at each other

And see ourselves

I mirror her

And

She mirrors me

For we are

OURSELVES

And I'm looking in a

Mirror at me
