I once knew a man they called Willem

There wasn't enough drink to fill him

His life style would hinge

On a dangerous binge

But never enough booze to kill him

He fancied the fruit of the vine

He drank it most of the time

And when he would drink

His nose would turn pink

The result of an abundance of wine

The boss decided to test him

So the cops wouldn't someday arrest him

He filled in the test

With no diversion or jest

So no one would ever contest him

The results were really a shock

And for Willem an embarrassing knock

For telling it straight

A  disheartening fate

For the drink he drank off the clock
