The Storm Inside

Navigating the Chaos within to find peace

The storm inside, it twists and turns,

A fire that rages, a cold that burns.

Whispers of doubt, a thunderous cry,

Clouds of emotions fill the sky.

It starts as a breeze, gentle, unknown,

Then builds to a gale that chills to the bone.

Waves of anger crash and rise,

Tears like rain fall from weary eyes.

We wrestle with winds, we bend, we break,

Our hearts unsure of how much they can take.

But storms, they pass, as storms always do,

Leaving the skies a clearer hue.

Breathe in deeply, let the winds subside,

Feel the calm where the chaos tried to hide.

The tempest teaches, though rough and unkind,

Strength you never thought you’d find.

For within the storm lies a quiet truth,

A seed of growth, a spark of youth.

Each gust and wave, a lesson bestowed,

Each strike of lightning, a path to be showed.

So when the storm inside starts to rise,

Don’t fear the clouds or the darkened skies.

You’ve weathered before, you’ll weather again,

A soul resilient, time and time again.

Let the storm shape you, don’t let it define,

For beyond the tempest, the sun will shine.
