To hear a little sound

Around a medics’s neck I sit,

A symbol of their profession.

Into their ears I do fit,

for an audio inspection.

You can hear the heart,

and air in the lungs.

The examination has a start,

in the way it’s begun.

With a pressure cuff,

how high will stop the flow

Let the pressure off,

Then hear the blood once more go.

Other people will use the fact,

that small sounds you can hear.

Like when a safe that they crack,

by a spy you should fear.

You can hear though a wall.

You can hear though a door.

Secrets into your ears will fall,

so you know what is in store.

I’m quite the useful tool.

So keep me around.

So don’t be a silly fool,

use me to hear little sounds.
