“26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalm 73:26 New International Version

That gentle

Nudge an urge

Send a text

And pray!

~~~
A grieving friend
The pain heavy
Faith not shaken
But the words
Are empty,
The space between
The silence
Words neither
Spoken
Or silent.
~~~

An answer to

A question

How are you feeling?

Her answer brief

But it tells

Me

What

I need to Know,

Pray!

~~~
A quick word
Of encouragement
The promise to keep
Praying
Feeling a
Little helpless
Not knowing
What to say
But remembering
Too
That He wraps
Us in His
Embrace
Even when
We don’t have
The words to
Pray.
