What inspires you?

What motivates your creativity?

Is it the lone wolf fighting against impossible odds,

Surrounded on every side,

Yet still prevailing despite the critics and the odds?

Is is the inspiration from the heart felt advice given by a friend,

Seeing two close friends lifting each other up in their time of need,

Helping each other carry another’s load,

Keeping their heads held high?

Is is the thundering of trumpets,

The soft sway of the violins,

Pouring their hearts into music,

Touching the hearts of many,

Lifting voices of a choir in song?

Or is it a knight of noble birth,

On a journey to conquer the dragon?

Gaining allies and fighting against vagabonds,

Saving the princess from the warlords fortress,

Being crowned king?

Or is it the way a man shows his affection towards his woman?

The way he leads her with strength and discipline,

With just the right amount to make her heart melt?

The words that stir her mind to think,

To dare to be courageous,

To fall in love?

I ask of you,

What inspires your imagination?

How do you keep the dream alive?
