The Song Of Frost
Wonderland
Etched in expectation
As it splinters on the glass
Spider webs of glazed sensation
Absorb the tree limbs, lakes and grass
Stretching like frozen fingers
Scratching the surface with a groan
A hint of moisture lingers
On your fingertips and nose
Silently it whispers breathing life into its veins
Growing as it crawls, until it’s covered everything
It creaks and cracks, consuming any surface in its wake
And when the sunlight hits just right, you’ll hear the frost begin to sing
Condensation captured by the wind and low degree
Making magic happen, as it all begins to freeze
Mosaic art appearing, in an instant, right before your eyes
Filling the air with anticipation at her magical surprise

What frosty poem and looking forward to seeing frosty windows and grasses. Yes, truly a wonderland. Good job.
Your words allowed me to vividly hear the crunch under my feet !
love it. I'll never look at frost the same way again.
