The Solace From Mother Earth
Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Spirit
By Christina ShislerPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read
I lie in the wooded terrain
Where I feel the calm of the soil remains
The soft breeze caressing my cheek
Replenishing me of energy to where I am no longer weak
What a sweet song the stream makes
Lulling me to the point I close my eyes, almost not awake
The mellow fire at my feet
Crackling and crunching, making a marvelous beat
I can see the Spirits and Ancestors dance to the symphony
Mother Earth causing me to have an epiphamy
I am home
No longer alone
No worry of being cast out
I am at peace that I have finally found my route
True comfort, no doubt
