The Snowman❄️
What fun building him, yet sad when he melts away ❄️

The Snowman❄️
Beneath a sky of winter gray,
The snow fell soft throughout the day.
With mittened hands and laughter bright,
We shaped a friend in snowy white.
A hat askew, a scarf of red,
A carrot nose, where dreams are fed.
Pebble eyes that seemed to gleam,
A snowy figure from a dream.
He stands so tall, our winter king,
Adorned with joy the cold does bring.
But as the sun begins to glow,
He’ll gently fade with melting snow.
Yet in our hearts, he’ll always stay,
A memory of a snowy day.
For though he’s lost to springtime’s cheer,
His warmth remains with us each year. ❄️

One of my favorite things to do when there was enough snow on the ground. Great work and thanks for the memory.
A wonderful poem about the simple and fun moment of building a snowman.☃️
