The Sneaky Squirrel

A Nutty Adventure of Mischief and Mishaps!

By Story TellerPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In a tree so tall and green,

Lived a squirrel, sneaky and keen.

He'd steal nuts from all around,

Without making a single sound.

With a twitch of his fluffy tail,

He'd dart and dash, without fail.

From bird feeders to picnic fare,

Nothing was safe from his cunning snare.

He'd hide and scamper, jump and leap,

Evading capture, oh so deep.

But one day, his luck did change,

As he faced a trap, something strange.

A clever human, with a trick up their sleeve,

Set a trap the squirrel couldn't perceive.

With a flash and a snap, the trap was sprung,

The squirrel's escape plans all undone.

Caught in the act, he had to admit,

The game was up, he had to quit.

He learned his lesson, that's for sure,

No more sneaking, he'd have to endure.

So now he lives, a reformed fellow,

No more stealing, he's a good fellow.

But the tale of the sneaky squirrel's past,

Will always be remembered, with a chuckle and a laugh.
