How I wish
I could be like the sky
She makes no apologies
for every shade
of her blue.
She rumbles and rages freely
at injustice
and lack of care
over all that she shelters.
She weeps
in mists
and in torrents
that both wipe away
and nurture.
She shines
openly
displaying tufts
of cotton candy images
that delight imagination.
And at night
she is full of all the stars
that lovers and dreamers
both wish upon.
Oh yes, how I wish
I could be like the sky
who in her multitude of majesty
never conceals
any side

What is it, do you think, that stops us from being like the sky?
