As the light shifted
I felt the cold air
Darkness was left
No one was there
I was now alone
Cold
Heartless
You left me behind
To feel this darkness
No longer can I see
How much longer will I wait
Who’s time is it now
No more can I take
I’m on the path of pain
Beating in my brain
No more can I feel comfortable
As the rain pours
My soul soars
To the place where I’m uncomfortable
Deep within
My subconscious mind
Which stores all the memories of you
My intuition
My deep suspicions
Is what lead me stray from who
Who I’m supposed to be
My third eye
It showed me the path where which I roam
My ego
My pride
Is why I’m no longer home
Lead me back to my safe place
Where I may rise up again
Although I have fallen
Fallen astray from greatness
It’s never too late to show up again
The energy restores
My lines in tact
I’m back on track
To shine where I was meant to be
Forgive me now
Please show me how
To balance the light in the face of the enemy
