When you live in the shadows
In a dark space
A light comes to you
When your soul sees a face
The face beams at you like the
Rays of the sun
But she's trying hard to hide
The damage that's been done
Her energy of spirit
Can overcome so much
She seems to be able
To cure with her touch
Between the light and the dark
Seems like a mile
Can she make things change
With just her smile?
Your soul seems to doubt
This powerful light
This beacon of power
That shines so bright
The shadows are not kind
Simple and real
They always can hide
What you cannot feel
Darkness can hide it all
If you are in a bad way
The journey will continue
But will the darkness stay?
