The Senses

Through sight, I see the colors bright and bold
The world around me, a canvas to behold
Mountains tall and ocean vast
Gardens blooming with flowers amassed

Through hearing, I listen to birdsong
The wind rustling leaves all day long
The ocean's waves crashing on the shore
Nature's symphony, forevermore

Through touch, I feel the warmth of the sun
The softness of sand when the day is done
The texture of bark beneath my hands
The rustle of leaves across the lands

Through taste, flavors dance upon my tongue
Sweet and sour, like a song unsung
Fruits and spices, new tastes to savor
A world of food, like an endless flavor

Through smell, scents of nature fill the air
Flower petals, fragrant and fair
Freshly brewed coffee and baked bread
Smells that fill my soul with joy, unsaid

The senses join to create an experience true
Immersed in a world anew
Sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell
Together creating stories to tell.
