Winter:

Stuck in the dead of winter, in a place you never wanted to be in.

Hoping, Wishing, Praying, To be away from the cold you've been trapped in.

The world seems to want you to come but the snow is piled too high.

You're so close but so far and you think all you need is to be away from where you've been stuck your whole life

Spring:

Finally, your time has arrived

No more Hoping, Wishing, Praying, It's now time to be on your own and move on

But it's difficult with all the rain and mud, seeing all the people and places you used to love makes you want to stay in this safer place.

A piece of you forever stuck.

Summer:

Officially on your own now away from the place you used to call prison.

It's harder than you thought but feels better to be out on your own for the first time.

Your days are free and fun, but the thundering nights bring you back to the faces you left behind. To the piece of yourself that you left behind.

Hoping, Wishing, Praying, you don't lose it.

Fall:

With this change in your heart comes the change of weather.

You've returned to this place which you once loathed, it feels different but not in a sad way. It feels nice and familiar, and you need to remember not to get stuck.

So no more hoping, wishing, praying,
