Feeling the swirl of sand and sea
It is but a moment in time we share
The enveloping mass all around me
Causing to breathe in the salty air
You are the sea meeting distant shore
I am sand with granules of time
Coming from time and place no more
Our future mixes with your hand in mine
Like sand and water emotions twined
Looking deep into your starry eyes
And somehow, I feel tricked and tried
Cause every time we meet, time flies.
Though our meetings and days renew
Feeling my heart of emotions ablaze
Never enough do I get of you
I find myself lost in your playful gaze
Like sand and sea that will mix in time
Winning of your heart
To truly join mine.
