The Savage Hands of Humanity

A Dark Reflection on Humanity’s Cruelty

By COUPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

They carve the earth with hands of steel,

Ripping flesh from soil to seal

Their cities high, their towers tall—

Blind to the ones who take the fall.

Rivers choke on poison spills,

Forests burn on shattered hills.

The sky turns black, the seas run red,

Yet greed still thrives where hope has bled.

They cage the beasts, they clip the wings,

They silence all who dare to sing.

Their hunger vast, their thirst untamed,

No mercy shown, no soul ashamed.

They sharpen swords, they fire the guns,

They fight till all the blood has run.

The young are taught to kill, obey—

A cycle set to never stray.

They speak of peace with hollow breath,

While carving pathways paved in death.

A brutal race, a cruel design—

A species cursed to cross the line.
