Love is no stranger to humanity in crisis.
Paranoia labored men to fend for themselves.
But you sacrificed your panic to forlorn drifters.
Musing within the box of dire reason and survival.
Re-purposing your stamina and zeal.
Where violence, and thievery have no place here.
To the very last exhale.

I like this a lot! Really made me think. For me, it makes me think, even when people are in crisis, it isn't that love can't be there. It absolutely can be. People may turn their attention and resources the wrong direction, re-purpose those things, but it's important to concentrate on love and on kind things even in harsh times.
That was so deep! Also, I learned a new word from you today, sangfroid! Loved your poem!
This one's packed with strength and calm in the chaos! Love how the soldier stays grounded, even when everything's falling apart. "To the very last exhale" really hits deep too. Solid piece!
now that's love
