On the same globe

living worlds apart.

Two lives, two parts

of the same heart.

Not so long ago

two heartbeats close.

One strong and full,

so full of love n hope.

The other so small

still a whisper beat,

gaining strength each month

till the day they meet.

But when their eyes gaze up

to the heavens above

they see the beauty there.

Their heartrs swell with love

and they know somewhere,

though you're oh so far

that you too look up

to the same bright star.

Now the time rolls by

they share joys n tears.

For one it's summer time

for the other, autum nears.

Their journeys varied each

the miles stretched between.

Their bond forever stong

through the tether unseen.

So when the the thunder roars,

and the rain pours down,

When their anguished cry

doesn't make a sound.

Then their eyes gaze up

to the heavens above

they see the beauty there.

Their hearts swell with love

and they know somewhere

though you're oh so far

that you too look up

to the same bright star.
