I like

to enter sometimes

the town library

a different and special world

down you walk through a garden of written thoughts

up you float on a sky of unwritten thoughts

I look at the books with humility

then the books look at me

every book has a big eye inside it

in which all the eyes of the readers gathered

I like

to stroke the books with my look

to touch them with my hand

while walking among the shelves

to feel their smell

and read one book or another

I leave taking with me

the sadness of so many books left unread

surreal poetry
