The Sad Memories

When you left

In the chambers of my heart, your memories reside,

A love so pure, in which my soul did confide.

Though you're gone, your essence lingers in the air,

A bittersweet fragrance of a love so rare.

In the silent hours of the night, I close my eyes,

And there, in dreams, your face in beauty lies.

The stars above, they weep for love's cruel cost,

As I wander through the labyrinth of memories lost.

Your laughter, like a melody, still plays within my mind,

A tune that lingers, a love that's intertwined.

But fate, a cruel jest, has torn us both apart,

Leaving only fragments of my shattered heart.

I trace the lines of letters never sent,

Words left unsaid, emotions unspent.

In the book of our love, an unfinished tome,

The pages remain empty, aching to be known.

Each tear that falls, a testament to what we were,

A love so deep, so enduring, so pure.

Though you've left this world, your memory holds its sway,

In my heart, you're forever, and there you'll always stay.

The echoes of your laughter, the whispers of your name,

In every corner of my soul, they'll forever flame.

For lost love's memories, they may bring tears anew,

But in their sweet sorrow, I still find solace in you.
