The Road to Heaven

There is a road that leads to heaven,

A road that's straight and true.

It's not the road that's traveled by the many,

But by the few.

It's not the road that's paved with gold,

Or lined with mansions fair.

It's not the road that's traveled by the proud,

Or by the haughty there.

It's the road that's traveled by the humble,

By those who know their need.

It's the road that's traveled by the meek,

And by the pure in heart indeed.

The road to heaven is not a breeze,

There are hills to climb and valleys to freeze.

There are rivers to ford and streams to cross,

But if you're willing to persist,

you'll not be lost.
