The River That Runs Through Me
It’s flows and my mind floats in it

The River That Runs Through Me
It moves beneath my skin unseen,
A liquid fire, a thread between.
It hums of love, it hums of pain,
A pulse that flows like steady rain.
It carries dreams I cannot hold,
It whispers secrets never told.
You are the one of my dreams,
It courses through my silent streams.
It twists and turns, it winds through veins,
It knows my joys, it knows my chains.
A tide of blood, a river’s song,
It rights what’s weak, it mends what’s wrong.
It hides in shadows, dark and deep,
Yet wakes with life from frozen sleep.
It cannot rest, it cannot wait,
It carries both desire and fate.
Sometimes it burns, a crimson tide,
A storm within I cannot hide.
It flows through sorrow, flows through tears,
It marks the passage of my years.
And though the world may try to bind,
It leaves no chain, it breaks no mind.
It is the current, endless, free,
The river running inside me.

Beautiful !!!!!!
Life is like a river we just have to go with the flow through the calm and yes eve the rapids of living. Good job.
The part I had to stop and "drink-in" was: "It carries dreams I cannot hold, It whispers secrets never told."
