"The Ride"

A merry-go-round

Fantastic beasts go 'round and 'round

Colors of red, yellow, green and blue

Swirling like a kaleidoscope

Dizzying, dizzying, dizzying

Trying to catch your breath

And restore your senses

Onlookers blurred as you spin on by

Laughter and voices become distant memories

Hold on tight

You can't get off

Ominous music fills your head

Panic sets in

This ride is cursed

Faster and faster it goes

Spinning, spinning, spinning

The animals on the ride

Caricatures from ancient myths

Their faces once innocent and friendly

Now sneer with pointed teeth

And demon eyes

We shriek and cry for the horror to end

Our pleas fall on uncaring ears

We Are Damned.
