This is for Mother Combs' Limerick challenge (link below), and I have to confess, it is almost entirely autobiographical.

This writer was feeling exhaustion,

And thought she'd sit out for a portion.

But these thoughts followed through,

Just slipped out like a poo,

A Limerick gained by extortion.

And as an explanatory note, this one, too:

There was a young lady from Dorking,

Who wrote poems when e'er she went walking.

She did not intend

To jump on this trend,

But her brain, it just wouldn't stop squawking.

All resemblance to real persons is entirely accidental. I am not a young lady from Dorking.
