I received a message last night.

Paradise is real,

And it’s still possible for me to touch the light.

I had a dream last night;

Not just any dream, though.

This dream taught me the true meaning of flow.

I was on an island of some sort.

It seemed like I was inside a stoned fort.

I watched the coast as the water crashed into the sand.

All of a sudden I felt something pull my hand.

The beautiful dream shifted into a nightmare.

I was trapped inside someone’s lair.

I heard squealing as I laid there.

Is it a bag?

No.

Is it a cat?

No.

It’s a rat!

Panic consumed me.

It eventually made it easy towards me.

I tried to get up and move,

But I couldn’t move!

It wasn’t until the rat was under my leg

That I grabbed it tightly.

I woke up and I was still holding onto it.
