The Quiet of Dreams

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 2 months ago 1 min read

Verse 1

When the night folds its wings,

And silence softens the air,

I feel the echoes of voices

Of souls who still linger there.

They’ve walked beyond the horizon,

Yet their whispers find my ear,

Through the veil of sleep they gather,

Making absence disappear.

Chorus

Dreams are the bridges,

Dreams are the light,

Carrying love through the endless night.

Though they’ve departed,

Still they remain,

In the quiet of dreams, we meet again.

Verse 2

I see their faces in starlight,

I hear their laughter in rain,

The threads of memory woven

Are never broken, never slain.

They guide me gently through shadows,

They teach me how to be free,

And though the dawn may scatter them,

Their truth still lives in me.

Chorus

Dreams are the bridges,

Dreams are the light,

Carrying love through the endless night.

Though they’ve departed,

Still they remain,

In the quiet of dreams, we meet again.

Bridge

No grave can silence the spirit,

No distance can sever the flame,

In the hush of sleep they remind me

That love is stronger than pain.

Final Chorus

Dreams are the bridges,

Dreams are the light,

Carrying love through the endless night.

Though they’ve departed,

Still they remain,

In the quiet of dreams, we meet again.

Dreams are the calling of the inner self. When touched by the Archangel, they become prophetic. A very beautiful poem that reminds us once again of the magic of the night
