A Black woman's power

A Black woman's wand...

calls on her to fuel the flame

the field set ablaze.

***

Battles of the wind...

cutting like swords of clearness

she finds her sound voice.

***

Her water cup flows

with emotions and feelings

praying for release.

***

And she plants herself

discovering foundation

in the Earth below.
